The Most Polluting Clothing Brand

On their website, M&S say they sell 15 pairs of jeans per minute… so we could guess how many items they produce annually, but we shouldn’t have to.

These are numbers we desperately need to build data driven policy and globally accountable EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility).

Thanks to research and beach audits by The Or Foundation we know that #MarksAndSpencer is the number one most discovered brand found polluting beaches in Accra, Ghana.

We can’t build a fair fashion future without transparency from brands like M&S, which is why we must demand that Marks & Spender must share their annual production numbers (units not weight) and #SpeakVolumes.
